Armenia is an ideal country for winter hiking, especially for mountain lovers.
You can spend your vacation at this wonderful time of the year by choosing Armenia. One of the winter resorts is ski resort. There are all conditions there for skiers. The visitors may rent skies and even a personal instructor. The ski resort is not only the physical activity but also a chance to enjoy the mountain air.
This month we will offer you an ideal vacation spot: the Mayler Ski Resort, located 62 kilometers from Zvartnots International Airport, which allows you to reach the complex in 1 hour by car.
The resort occupies an area of about 2070 hectares, of which 600 are intended for construction.
In the 2024/2025 season, two additional 10-seater gondola lifts, Angeline 1 and Angeline 2, will operate in Mayr, allowing guests to ascend from the resort’s starting point to its highest peak, at 2,850 meters.
From there, magnificent views of the Ararat, Ara, Aragats and Hatis mountains open up, as well as nearly 21 kilometers of ski slopes, which meet all four levels of difficulty, color-coded in accordance with European standards.
